Bhabha Pass trek is an ideal destination for those seeking thrill and natural divine beauty. Filled with Himachali tradition and Buddhist monasteries, Bhabha pass is for the lovers of beauty who will be overjoyed to see stunning river valley and splendid mountain peaks.
Trekkers will get to see the dewy meadows and stark landscapes of Spiti valley and also the opportunity to know the gaddi shepherds. Bhabha Pass trek is surrounded by beautiful apple orchards and woods and Parvati Pin pass is also visible from there. The trekkers will be crossing over natural bridges over rivers, watching the mountains and flowered trail along with amazing sight of turquoise water flowing from high mountains at Chandratal Lake.
It is a treat to watch Bhabha pass as a unique intersection of Kinnaur and Spiti. The trek would include camping in dense forests and near Lakes, walking along natural streams of water, watching beautiful landscape of Spiti and a thrilling trail of 16000+ feet pass.

TOUR ITINERARY
An Enchanting Ride
Day 1: Shimla - Kafnu
The journey will start from Shimla by 7 AM. We will drive to Kafnu through Narkanda and Rampur, enjoying a truly celestial beauty of the hills. Kafnu is a charming settlement in the Bhabha Valley, Kinnaur. We’ll stay in a hotel for the night and the next day the trek will start.
Day 2: Kafnu - Mulling
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll start the trek. Following a moderate trail through apple orchards and easy to follow forest area, we will reach Mulling meadows in about 6 hours. We’ll retire to tents for the night in the lap of this enchanting place.
Day 3: Mulling - Kara Meadows
it’s going to be an exciting day as we are going to be crossing rivers passing through natural bridges. The place is full of vibrant blossoms and you can meet shepherds in their natural surroundings. After a steady climb, we will reach Kara meadow to witness the stunning mountain peaks on the Kinnaur and Spiti border. We’ll be spending the night in the tents.
Day 4: Kara - Phustirang
We’ll start our day to trek to Phustirang through a way that has mesmerizing sights and you’ll get to see Hansbeshan Peak that’s at 5,840 meters. Once we’ll reach the camp ground, you’ll have evening to yourself to unwind and relax. Then, we’ll sleep in the tents for the night.
Day 5: Phustirang - Bhabha Pass - Baldar
The day will start with a trek that will take us to Bhabha Pass. It’s a steep snow laden, a little time consuming tricky path and requires strength and stamina on your part. When you reach the top, you can feats your eyes on the striking view of mountain ranges and Pin Parvati Pass unfolding in front of you. After a short time to relax, we’ll start climbing down to reach Spiti, which is a distinctive mix of grasslands and various mountains. We’ll be spending the night in the tents.
Day 6: Baldar - Mudh - Kaza
The day would start with a light trek to Mudh, a breath takingly beautiful terrain lined with purple hued mountains, Pin river and never-ending fields. We’ll halt at Mudh for some time and then will drive to Kaza. An overnight stay is arranged at Kaza.
Day 7: Kaza - Kunzum La - Chandratal
We will drive to Kunzum la through beautiful villages with their old world charm at display. From Kunzum La we will trek for around 3 hours and arrive at the campsite near Chandratal Lake. It’s a treat for eyes to watch the serene turquoise water in the midst of the mountains. After a relaxing evening, we will retire to our tents for the night.
Day 8: Chandratal - Manali
Depending on the weather and road situation, we will be trekking for half an hour to 3 hours to reach at the top. Once there, we will be driven to Manali through Rohtang pass. This marks the completion of Bhabha Pass Trek
- Transportation:Â Car/Train/Bus/Rickshaw (tuk tuk) as specified in the itinerary.
- Accommodation:Â Clean budget hotels, home stay, beach hut as specified in the itinerary.

- Travel documents:Â Passport with visa, travel and medical insurance, air tickets round trip, minimum Indian rupee currency of 2000 INR or less during travel rest can be exchanged based on necessity while in India.
- Sleeping bag (we can arrange one, but at an additional cost).
- Common medicines as suggested by Doctor in your country for diarrhea, allergies, common cold and any other. Personal medication for any ailments.
- Clothing mild warm & light for travelling between April – October and warm & light during November – March.
- Mosquito/insect repellent, Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.
- A pair of Trekking/walking shoes, flip flop, torch light/headlight.
- Traveling light with rucksack bags would be ideal to carry and travel around.
